SAMU - Emergency Calls SAMU - Response Times

Methodology

Response times

This part of the webpage contains three sections: data upload, distribution of response times for several policies and simulation of allocation policies.

DATA UPLOAD

Upload of 4 types of files: a file for the bases (first column base number, second column: base name, column 3: lat of base, column 4: long of base), a file for ambulances (first column: ambulance number, second column: ambulance type (1: basic, 2: intermediate, 3: advanced), third column: 0 if any base can be chosen otherwise the base number of the ambulance), a file for hospital (first column: hospital number, second column: hospital name, column 3: hospital lat, column 4: hospital long), and a file for scenarios (first line: number of scenarios, then for each scenario: line 1 (line 2 of the file): number of calls in scenario, line 2: call 1 day, call 1 time, call 1 priority, call 1 type, call 1 lat, call 1 1ong, call 1 hospital, call 1 patient number, line 3: data of call 2, line 3: data of call 3, and so on...

After uploading data, the data of the corresponding SAMU will be available for the user in the front-end for use in the two other sections.

DISTRIBUTION OF RESPONSE TIMES

Choice of 2 filters: day, time window during the day (00h-00h30; 00h30-1h; 1h-1h30; ...).

Outputs: CDF of response time for all policies on one figure with one line plot per policy, one histogram of the distribution of cost for each policy, and a table with for each policy: min response time, max response time, mean response time, 0.9 quantile.

SIMULATION OF ALLOCATION POLICIES

Four filters: day (all days, Monday, Tuesday,...), time window during the day (00h-00h30;00h30-1h;1h-1h30;....), policy (policy 1, policy 2, policy 3), User: admin, patient, ambulance. After clicking apply filters, we launch a simulation that simulates calls and the allocation of ambulances to these calls.
